Bulbyaniki is a dish that can be safely attributed to appetizers and side dishes. It always turns out to be quite satisfying, and if served with some kind of spicy sauce, it is also quite original in taste. To prepare such yummy, you should use the meat that you like best. In this recipe, the choice was made on chicken fillet. The meat can be safely cut very finely and fried with onions, or twisted in a meat grinder and follow the same procedure.
Bulbyaniki is best served hot, although many people like them cold as well. Of the sauces, the one that you like the most is suitable. So, it can be Tartare or home-cooked. By the way, bulbaniki can be safely made larger or smaller in size. Yes, and their shape can be either round or more elongated – and even oval.
Ingredients:
- Potato – 500 g.
- Chicken fillet – 100 g.
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Flour – 1 pc.
- Salt – 2-3 pinches.
- Ground pepper – 2-3 pinches.
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml.
How to cook:
1. Peel the potatoes, be sure to cut them into small pieces. Fill with water and send to the stove. Boil the vegetable until it is ready.
Usually 20 minutes is enough for this procedure, but it may take more time, as it all depends on the variety.
2. Now drain the water, carefully place the potatoes in a bowl and crush them.
3. Finely chop the meat or chop it with a meat grinder.
4. Cut the onion.
5. Fry small pieces of fillet and onion in a frying pan, just pour vegetable oil.
6. Transfer the meat with onions to the potato mass.
7. Add an egg.
8. Then add flour.
9. Now add salt and pepper. Mix well.
If you want, you can also chop fresh herbs. The spices you like will also work.
10. Form bulbaniki and fry them in a pan, pouring vegetable oil into it and preheating it.
