Sandwiches “Young Lady Peasant Woman” is a simple and budgetary dish that is quickly prepared, and also instantly disappears from the table, as they are eaten as the very first of all snacks.
Hot, fragrant and crunchy – impossible to resist. From the most affordable ingredients, fry such ruddy and delicious sandwiches. To do this, take bread (you can yesterday), potatoes, onions and carrots. For the filling, you will also need one chicken egg and some spices. Fry them in a pan with vegetable oil.
Ingredients:
- Bread white or gray – 250 g.
- Raw potatoes – 150 g.
- Chicken eggs – 1 pc.
- Carrots – 50 g.
- Onion – 40 g.
- Vegetable oil – 40 g.
- Salt, black pepper – to taste.
How to cook:
1. Peel the potatoes, rinse and grate on a coarse grater. Potatoes are the basis of filling for sandwiches. Place the grated potatoes in a bowl.
2. Beat the chicken egg into the potato mass. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
3. Grate the peeled carrot and add the diced onion.
You can also grate the onion if you like. Onions add juiciness to the dish, and carrots add extra flavor.
4. Stir the resulting filling, it will turn out not very liquid.
5. Cut the bread into medium-thick slices.
Use any bread – white or gray. We do not recommend buying only Borodino or rye – this type is very fragrant and can kill the taste of the potato filling.
6. Spread the bread with vegetable filling, middle layer. Do not put a lot of filling so that it does not fall off when frying – it will be heavy.
7. Heat the oil in a frying pan, turning on medium heat, only now spread the sandwiches with the filling down. Fry for 3-4 minutes, you can cover the pan with a lid.
8. Then turn over, fry for 1 more minute and you’re d1. The sandwiches are crispy and crispy.
