Pickled zucchini in a bag is an appetizer that always goes with a bang at the festive table. In addition, it is also prepared quite quickly and simply. And these are not all its advantages. The fact is that such an appetizer is low-calorie, but also very healthy, since vegetables do not lend themselves to any heat treatment.
To prepare pickled zucchini in a bag, you should use young vegetables, as they taste much better. Garlic, vinegar and dill are added to zucchini. It is these additives that make vegetables very fragrant and appetizing. You can serve such an appetizer as an independent dish or, for example, cook boiled new potatoes for it. It is with him that zucchini goes best.
Ingredients:
- Zucchini – 1-2 pcs.
- Salt – ½ tbsp. l.
- Sugar – ½ tsp
- Garlic – 1-3 cloves.
- Dill – 1 bunch.
- Vinegar ordinary 9% – 1 tbsp. l.
How to cook:
1. Wash the zucchini very carefully. After that, if the peel is dense, be sure to cut it off. Cut the vegetables into circles, the thickness of each should be no more than 7-8 mm.
2. Transfer the chopped zucchini slices to the bag.
3. Peel the garlic, chop it in a convenient way. You can simply cut it into small cubes or squeeze it through a garlic press. Put the garlic on the zucchini.
4. Then add chopped greens to the zucchini. Give preference to dill, parsley, or the greens that you love very much.
5. Now add sugar and salt.
6. Pour in the vinegar. You can use not only the usual 9% vinegar, but also apple cider vinegar.
7. Tighten the bag tightly, you can tie it in a knot. Shake well so that all the spices are evenly distributed.
8. Leave the zucchini for a day to marinate in the bag.
You can immediately put them in the refrigerator or leave them for a couple of hours at room temperature, and when the vegetables start juice, put the bag in the refrigerator. Although, after 2-3 hours they will be well saturated with spices, and they can be safely served at the table.
