Salad “Sardines under a fur coat” always turns out very bright and beautiful in appearance. That is why, it can be safely made for a holiday, guests will definitely be delighted with it. It is made from the simplest and not too expensive products. Dressing the salad, or rather lubricating the layers, is best with mayonnaise. Of course, you can use it with a small percentage of fat, but this is not important. When choosing chicken eggs, it is better to take homemade ones. They have a bright, beautiful yolk and taste more satisfying and better than those sold in the store.
If suddenly you don’t like onions or you can’t eat them, or there is some other reason, then you can not add it to the salad. In order for the dish to have a more festive look, it is better to lay out all the products in layers in the forming ring. The top is to make a layer of carrots, it is thanks to her that the salad will come out so bright and attractive.
Ingredients:
- Sardines – 1 bank.
- Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
- Carrot – 1 pc.
- Potato – 1 pc.
- Onion – 0.5 pcs.
- Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp. l.
- Salt – 2 pinches.
- Black pepper – a pinch.
How to cook:
1. Put vegetables in a bowl, namely carrots and potatoes. This is if they are raw. Boil them for 30 minutes, add a pinch of salt to the water. Salt is needed so that carrots and potatoes are not fresh in taste. Boil chicken eggs for 7 minutes. Peel them and cut into cubes, peel the vegetables, and follow the same procedure.
2. Peel the onion, cut half into small cubes and place in a shaping ring.
3. Put the sardines on top, but without the marinade. Mix them with onions.
4. Lubricate this layer with plenty of mayonnaise. Also, lubricate all subsequent ones with it.
5. Place chopped potatoes on top. You can salt and pepper it to taste.
6. It has eggs on it.
7. The final layer will be carrots.
Carrots can not only be grated, but also cut into medium-sized cubes.
8. Now remove the metal special ring. Do this procedure very carefully.
Decorate the finished salad however you like. You can simply draw stripes with mayonnaise and lay out a few sprigs of fresh herbs, for example, dill or parsley.
