A biscuit on the 1st egg can be prepared from a minimum of products, but it turns out to be quite tasty, soft, though not the same in structure as the one made according to the classic recipe. When choosing products, it is advisable to purchase kefir with a high percentage of fat content. It is better to take a homemade egg, but butter can be replaced with margarine, if you do not take it negatively. By the way, due to the fact that melted butter will be added to the dough, the cake will not stick to the mold, but it is still desirable to grease it additionally.
It is advisable to serve the finished biscuit to the table when it stands after baking for at least 15-20 minutes. Also, ready-made pastries can be used as a cake crust. Or simply grease it on top with only jam or condensed milk and serve it to the table.
Ingredients:
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Sugar – 1 pc.
- Butter – 50 g.
- Flour – 1 tbsp.
- Kefir (suitable with any percentage of fat content) – 100 ml.
- Baking soda or baking powder – 0.5 tsp.
How to cook:
1. Crack an egg into a deep plastic bowl.
2. Add sugar to it immediately.
You can also use powdered sugar.
3. Mix everything well with a whisk. A mixer is also suitable for this purpose.
4. Now pour in kefir, it is better to heat it to a warm state.
5. Now add soda. You can use baking powder.
Due to the fact that kefir is warm, soda will react with it faster. Bubbles will appear on the surface, and the mass will become more lush and airy.
6. Pour in melted butter or margarine. If suddenly there is none of the listed products at home, then use vegetable oil.
7. Pour in the flour. It must be of the highest quality.
8. Now pour the dough into a mold and send it to the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
Be sure to check readiness with a wooden skewer before removing the cake from the oven. It is also highly undesirable to open the door, otherwise the biscuit may settle.
9. Put the biscuit on the 1st egg on a dish and serve it boldly to the table.
