Crab sticks in batter are a great appetizer that looks amazing on the festive table. She prepares quickly and easily. You can serve ready-made sticks simply by laying them out on a dish, or you can cut them into smaller pieces. In addition, crab sticks in batter, both hot and cold, are very tasty. By the way, you can put a piece of hard cheese inside, so they will come out even more tasty and unusual.
If after cooking all the crab sticks are not used, then some kind of salad or balls can still be prepared from them. To prepare the balls, you just need to grate them on a fine grater, add mayonnaise to them, mix, and then form balls with your hands. And now the recipe itself.
Ingredients:
- Crab sticks – 200 g.
- Mayonnaise – 1.5 tbsp. l.
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Salt – 1 pinch.
- Flour – 1 tbsp. l.
- Vegetable oil – 1 – 1.5 tbsp. l.
How to cook:
1. First of all, remove the packaging from the crab sticks. Do this carefully so as not to damage them.
Drive a chicken egg into a deep bowl, add salt, put mayonnaise.
2. After that, add flour, sifting it is optional.
3. With a fork or a kitchen whisk, beat everything into a homogeneous batter without lumps.
You can also use a mixer.
4. Dip the crab stick on all sides in the prepared batter. Do the same with all other crab.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Lay out the crab sticks.
6. Fry them until a beautiful golden crust on all sides over moderate heat.
7. Arrange cooked crab sticks on a serving platter. You can grease them with additional mayonnaise on top or leave them as they are and serve them to the table.
