How to cook:

1. The salad is going quickly, but the main thing here is to boil all root vegetables until soft. Cook beets for 40-45 minutes, potatoes and carrots for about 20 minutes. Also hard boil chicken eggs. Boil them for 8 minutes after the water boils.

All ingredients must be chilled.

So, cool the cooked vegetables and clean them. Dice beets, carrots and potatoes.

2. Peel the herring from skin and bones, cut the prepared fillet pieces into small cubes.

3. Cut the peel from the apple, cut the fruit into small cubes – in the salad they will give the dish a fresh flavor and an unusual zest.

5. Peel the boiled and cooled eggs and cut them into the same cubes as the other components.

6. Now it remains to quickly mix the salad – pour all the chopped ingredients into a deep suitable bowl and mix with sour cream and mustard. Salt and pepper the dish to taste. Send to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
