Homemade mayonnaise with milk is very popular, as there seems to be no easier way to make it. One of the main requirements for ingredients is the same temperature, for example, room temperature. Mustard powder, lemon juice, spices, spices and herbs, as well as garlic are also added to the basic ingredients. Such mayonnaise is perfectly stored in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator. And you can use it in the same way as a store product.
Ingredients:
- Vegetable oil – 200 ml.
- Milk – 100 ml.
- Salt – 3 pinches.
- Mustard powder – 1/3 tsp.
- Sugar – 3 pinches.
How to cook:
1. Pour fresh milk of any fat content into a deep large glass.
2. Now pour vegetable oil into a glass of milk – it is advisable to take refined, without a bright characteristic smell. Although, if you like fragrant homemade oil, you can use it.
3. Start beating both ingredients at high speed. Literally before your eyes, emulsification will occur and, in principle, the base for mayonnaise will be ready. The next task is to give the sauce a brighter, spicier taste.
4. At the next stage, you can connect your imagination and add any of the listed ingredients – mustard powder, lemon juice, spices, herbs, garlic. Each time, preparing such mayonnaise, you can experiment with additives and deduce the formula of the ideal sauce for yourself. Add mustard powder, salt and sugar to a glass.
5. Beat the mayonnaise for another minute, then pour some of the bowl and serve.
You can also immediately dress salads or add the product to snacks. Send the remaining mayonnaise to the refrigerator in a closed container.
