Probably, there is no such person who would not try to cook cheesecakes. This is a delicious treat that both adults and children simply adore. This recipe is not quite classic and, to some extent, more low-calorie. The thing is that cheesecakes according to this recipe are not fried in a pan, sugar is also not added to the dough, honey is used instead. In appearance, cheesecakes are not the same as classic ones. They come out more voluminous, round and lush.
To cook cheesecakes in the oven with honey, you should purchase high-quality cottage cheese. Honey, if it is too thick, should definitely be melted in a water bath, otherwise, the dough will simply be impossible to knead. Flour can be used not only wheat, but also rice. By the way, you can not add it to the dough at all, but use semolina or starch instead.
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese with any percentage of fat content – 200 g.
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Baking powder – 1 tsp (you can use 0.5 tsp of soda).
- Honey – 1-1.5 tbsp. l.
- Wheat or rice flour of the highest grade – 4-5 tbsp. l.
How to cook:
1. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl.
Cottage cheese can be pre-grinded with a blender (thus, it will become homogeneous in structure, but this procedure is not necessary).
Crack an egg into it.
2. Add liquid honey and mix all the ingredients very well.
3. Put the baking powder into the flour. Mix everything well with a spoon.
4. Add flour with baking powder to the curd dough.
5. Mix well again. Dip your hands in water and form circles. Put them on a baking sheet, you do not need to grease it with oil.
6. Send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Baking time may vary slightly, depending on the power of your oven and the size of the cheesecakes.
7. Now put the finished honey cheesecakes in a beautiful basket, let them cool, and then boldly serve them to the table.
These are such mouth-watering, lush and very tasty cheesecakes!
Bon appetit!
