Lightly salted cucumbers can be prepared in 2 hours as an appetizer or as a side dish. They come out quite salty. If there is a desire, then you can eat them the next day, they will become more salty to taste. You can store lightly salted cucumbers in a plastic container for about a week, or you can use a vegetable bag for this.
To prepare salted cucumbers, you can buy young vegetables or overgrown ones. In the second case, cucumbers should definitely be cut in half or into 4 parts so that they are probably salted. Garlic and dill can be omitted, however, it is thanks to these ingredients that cucumbers are more appetizing and fragrant in taste.
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers (any size) – 450-600 g.
- Garlic – 1-2 cloves.
- Salt – 0.5 tbsp. l.
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Dill or any other greens – 1 bunch.
How to cook:
1. Wash fresh cucumbers very thoroughly. Cut, if necessary, the edges on both sides. This procedure must be done if there are ponytails on the edges of vegetables. Although this way the cucumbers are better salted.
Put the washed cucumbers in a plastic container, a deep bowl, or even a saucepan. Be sure to make cuts (not completely) all over the vegetable. Do the same with all cucumbers.
2. Put the peeled garlic cloves to the vegetables.
3. Put the washed dill there. You can also add other herbs, such as parsley. For lovers of spicy snacks, it is also recommended to add hot pepper, which must first be cleaned of seeds and cut into pieces.
4. Now add sugar.
5. Then add salt.
6. Close the container or jar with a lid. Okay, shake it all up. Leave vegetables at room temperature for pickling. Shake the container periodically.
If you pickle cucumbers in a jar, then you can just turn it upside down.
7. After 2 hours, the cucumbers will become lightly salted to taste, and they can be safely served at the table.

Enjoy your meal!
