Mannik on kefir with apples turns out to be very appetizing in appearance, soft and rather airy. Cooking it quickly, much easier than a classic biscuit, since you do not need to separate the whites from the yolks. By the way, apples in this recipe can be safely used both sweet and sweet and sour. When choosing eggs, the choice should be stopped at home, so the cake will be more attractive in color in the context.
It is advisable to serve mannik to the table only after it has cooled down at least a little, since hot pastries are very harmful to the stomach. It goes best with compote or a glass of milk. Also, it can be additionally poured with condensed milk on top or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Ingredients:
- Semolina of excellent quality – 1 tbsp.
- Medium-sized apples – 2 pcs.
- Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
- Salt – 1 pinch.
- Kefir – 0.5 tbsp.
- Sugar – 3-4 tbsp. l.
- Soda – ¼ tsp
How to cook:
1. Beat chicken eggs into a glass bowl.
2. Pour sugar and salt to them immediately. Beat everything with a mixer for at least a minute. The mass should become more magnificent and increase in volume.
3. Pour in kefir. Instead, homemade sour milk is also suitable. It is desirable to heat the fermented milk product at least to a warm state. This procedure is needed solely so that it reacts better with soda.
4. Pour the indicated amount of semolina.
Note that semolina is an essential ingredient in this recipe, as it completely replaces flour.
5. Add soda. If it is not, then you can safely replace it with baking powder. Please note that it should be at least twice as large.
6. Now pour the finished dough into the mold.
The shape can be round in size or square. If it is made of ceramics, then it is advisable to lubricate it with oil and sprinkle with semolina. So the cake will be easier to get out of it and it will not stick to either the walls or the bottom.
7. Put sliced \u200b\u200bapples on top.
8. Send the mannik to the oven for 25-35 minutes. Be sure to check the readiness. The most convenient way to do this procedure is with a wooden skewer.
