Vegetable salads can easily diversify your daily diet. However, on the festive table, such dishes are never superfluous. Salad “Goat in the garden” is prepared both easily and simply. And his appearance always attracts attention.
To prepare such a salad, you will need a simple set of vegetables from beets, potatoes and cabbage. Beets will be used boiled, cabbage – fresh, and potatoes – fried. You will also need carrots, but unusual, but Korean, which will make the salad more spicy and slightly spicy. Everyone can buy boiled sausage, so be sure to use it for today’s dish.
The salad is hearty, tasty and crispy. It is best served on a large and flat plate, and then, in front of guests, mix all the ingredients with mayonnaise.
Ingredients:
- White cabbage – 150 g.
- Boiled beets – 100 g.
- Carrots in Korean – 100 g.
- Canned corn – 80 g.
- Boiled sausage – 100 g.
- Potatoes – 150 g.
- Onion – 70 g.
- Sugar – 0.5 tsp.
- Mayonnaise – 80-100 g.
- Vegetable oil – 40-50 g.
- Salt, black pepper – to taste.
Cooking:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes as for french fries. Fry the potato wedges in vegetable oil on all sides until golden brown. Salt the potatoes while frying. After frying, place on napkins to remove excess fat.
2. Cut the onion into half rings.
3. Put the onion in a bowl, add sugar, salt to taste.
4. Pour boiling water over the onion, mix, leave for a couple of minutes. Then rinse in ice water and drain off any liquid. The onion turned out tasty, crispy and without bitterness.
5. Chop cabbage into strips, salt and knead a little with your hands to make it softer.
6. Cut the boiled sausage into cubes.
7. Arrange canned corn, sausage and onions in a circle on a flat plate. Place the mayonnaise in a small gravy boat in the center of the plate.
8. Also lay out the boiled beets, Korean carrots and fried potatoes in a circle.
9. Add cabbage and the salad is ready.
The finished dish can be served immediately to the table.
