We offer to prepare an unusual apricot jam without cooking and sugar. Natural bee honey is used as a sweetener, which gives the dessert an extra flavor.
Even a child can handle the preparation of jam, the effort expended is minimal. Jam can be prepared in the absence of a stove and electrical appliances, in the country or on vacation. The dessert preserves the natural aroma and vitamin content of fresh apricots and will strengthen your immunity in the cold season. Jam is suitable for proper, baby food and diet.
Ingredients:
- Apricots (pitted) – 0.5 kg.
- Honey – 160 g.
How to cook:
1. Rinse apricots, dry and remove spoiled specimens. Divide the fruit into two halves, remove the seeds. Mash the apricots with a masher or clean hands.
2. The result is an inhomogeneous mass.
3. Put out honey.
4. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula. Leave at room temperature for 1 hour.
5. Re-mix the mass and send to the refrigerator for 11 hours. Stir the mass every hour 4-5 times for 2 minutes. Each time the mass will thicken and become homogeneous. Pour the jam into a sterilized jar, close with a clean airtight lid.
Store jam in the refrigerator for 1 year.
