Salad “Competitor” – one of the original puff salads of vegetables and chicken. Unlike other meat salads, the Competitor salad is not as satisfying as it might seem at first glance. Its highlight is baked peppers and chicken breast fried in spices, they give the dish an unusual taste.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet pepper – 250 g.
  • Chicken breast – 300 g.
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml.
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Cucumber – 3 pcs.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 150 g.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Mayonnaise – to taste.
  • Spices – to taste.
  • Greens – 100 g.

How to cook:

1. Wash and dry the sweet pepper, and then bake in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes. After the pepper is baked, remove it from the oven, put it in a bag for 2 to 3 minutes (this will make the pepper easy to peel).

2. Then peel the pepper from the skin, cut the stalk with seeds and cut into strips while still hot.

3. To chopped sweet peppers, add chopped parsley (or any other greens, such as cilantro or dill, depending on your taste preferences) and garlic squeezed through a press. Salt to taste and mix the warm pepper with herbs and garlic well.

4. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces, place in a preheated dry frying pan and fry, stirring, until the excess liquid has evaporated.

5. Then pour in vegetable oil, salt to taste and add spices, such as chicken seasoning. Fry, stirring the pieces of chicken meat, until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

6. When the fried chicken breast has completely cooled, you can start cooking the salad itself.

It should be noted that the salad can be formed both in a large salad bowl, and in several small salad bowls / bowls (in portions).

Put in the fried chicken first.

7. Lubricate it with a little mayonnaise.

8. Boil the eggs, peel, cut into strips and lay out the next layer, which is also greased with mayonnaise.

9. Cucumbers cut into thin strips and place in a salad bowl (no need to grease this layer with mayonnaise!).

10. After the cucumbers, lay out the cherry tomatoes cut in half (you can use tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes, cut them into strips as well). Lightly salt the vegetables and brush with mayonnaise.

11. Lay the final layer of baked peppers with herbs and garlic.
